We've spoken so much in your English

that now I am sat with missing my home

which is in my Romanian realm.

I miss speaking my semantic nuances

and linguistic valences

in the language that I learned to say 

Mom and I love you.

I miss being with my native verbal conundrums 

and to hold my Romanian space.

It's a part of me I'll always love

and I'll always call home

and one that I'm afraid I won't ever be 

able to translate for you.
